DEATH FROM INJURIES.
ACCIDENT NEAR WHANGAREI. (rnESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) WHANG AR EI, February 10. Wiremu Peri, aged 20, when working at Whangaruru on the East Coast yesterday, liuil liis right hand blown oft by tho explosion of a charge of dynamite and succumbed in the Whangarci Hospital early this morning. During the journey to Whangarei the car containing Peri, his wife, and sopie other Natives collided with another car, both vehicles being badly smashed. Mrs Peri's right arm was extensively lacerated by broken glass. An ambulance was sent out to complete the conveyance of the sufferers to Whangarei.
