NORTH BEACH CONTEST. Breward 2. Resuscitation Kate Bowl—A. Italian 1, I). Wilson K. A Owles Out ot nine competitors these three tied fur first place, and it second round had to be held. These eonlpilltions were run by the North Heacli Surf Club on behalf of the Oala_ Committee,' The Surf Olub'a own competition*, for Hie B. B. Wood Cup and tho Ward Cup. will bt' held nn Sunday. Tho New Zealand life-saving championship competitions are to b# held lit Now Plymouth on February 17th and lUtb. Entries have been received from the'Maranui, Lyall Bay, Mtlford Surf Clubs, and from the Canterbury, Otago, and Taranaki Ilead Centres of the Royal Life-Saving Society. The annual conference of branches of the Hoyal Life-Saving Soriety is to bo held in New Plymouth on Krebrusry 18tb.
