WEEKS' ANNUAL PICNIC.
Tho 36th annual picnic of Messrs Weeks, Limited, was held on Saturday in tho Rakaia Domain. The weather conditions wero ideal, and 130 persons enjoyed the day's outing. Toys, sweets, ice creams, and soft drlnku wore distributed among thu children. After a lengthy sports programme was run off, Mr J. Woolcock presented tho prireo to the successful competitors. Riach 1. Elopement Race: Miss I. Whittaker and C. Roberts 1. Nail Driving (Ladies): Mrs Beckett 1. Stepping Competition (Ladies): Miss Chamberlain 1. Stepping Competition (Men): J. Walker 1.
