TLc Christchurcli Municipal Band will play the following programme in Victoria square tonight:—March, "Conqueror" (Moorhouse); selection. "All Trumps" (John Neat): one-step. "Where's You Get Those nyes" (Donaldson); march, "U.B. and 0.F." (Ord Hume);- dance, "Cinderella's Bridal Proceision" (Dicker): selection. "Knight Errant" (Trussel); fnntatia, "A Military Church Parade" (Ord Hume): march. "Jack o' Lantern" (Rimmcr). Lectures in dental mechanics and in dental anatomy will be given by Mr A. C. Macintyre, 8.D.5.. at Canterbury College in the Biological Laboratory, during the coming session, commencing on Thursday, March 10th. 1927. Nt 8 p.m. Mrs K. Baird Friberg has returned tci Christchnrch from Lake Tekapo. She intends to hold an exhibition of water-colour sketches at "Tekapo. House" from the CSrd inst. onwards. The Palais de Danse Committee's evening at the Art Gallery on Saturday will be characterised by a special exhibition of the now famous "Blackbottom" dance by Mr Cvril Poulton and partner. Large's Band will provide the music. The Sumner and R<>dcliffs Rowing Club"': dance will b» held in the Redcliffs Community Hall on Saturday. A garden party will be" held on Saturdav «ft»rnoon ei the Holy Trinity Church, Avonsidn. The first term of the Canterbury School of Art will commence on Moudav, Februarv 14tli. Lectures will commence aft Canterbury College on March stb, the session opening on March 3rd.
