Methodist Flower Show. Representatives of the Methodist congregation met on Monday evening for the purpose of making final arrangements for.the annual errytanthemum show, which it was decided to hold in May. Lodge Meeting., The fortnightly meeting of tho Loyal City of Norwich Lodge, 1.0.0. F., M.U.. was held on Tuesday evening, X.G. Bro. Woods presiding over a good, attendance. Sick pay amounting to £2l 8s ti, and accounts totalling S3 15s, were passed for payment. The receipts of the evening totalled £lO4 3s Bd. One new member was initiated into the Order, and three members claimed their minor degrees. Tngof-War Carnival. Tho tug-of-war carnival, under the t auspicea of the Lyttelton Fanciers' Club, was opened by the Mayor, Mr F. E. Sutton, last evening. The results were:—Poultry Club. C. Mathowa, D. Gilliea, P. Barnes, W. Marshall, H. Brown, and W. Foulds (skip) (59st 91b) beat Gun Club, J. Prestage, E. Charmers. G. Hall, TV. 0. 0. Smith, J. P. Childs. W. Grade (skip) (65st 61b).
Rowing Club, L. Gilmore, K. Gilinore, J. Scott, 8. Oakley, H. Roderick, and J. Hughes (skip) (595 l 101b) beat Telegraph, Pullan, McKenzie, Earnsbaw, Edwards, Poulion (5G»t lib). There was also an exhibition poll b«tween Canterbury and Saxon. The first pull to-night is Gun Club r. Telegraph.
