CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Canterbury Yachting Association wan held last evening, Mr W. T. Lester presiding. It was reported that the Canterbury Autotuobilo Association had agreed to supply cars for the entertainment of visiting yachtsmen on picnic day at Ashley Gorge; also, that the manager of Everybody's Picture Thcatro would admit the visitors free during their atay. It was decided that cars leave the Automobile Association's rooms at 10.30 a.m. Various other recommendations in icgard to the entertainment were approved. The Town Clerk, Mr J. S. Neville, advised that the Mayor baß agreed to accord the visiting yachtamen a civio reception on Friday next, and suggested that one or two speakers from the Association take part in extending a welcome. Mr J. J. Dongall was appointed to speak on behalf of the Association. The matter of arranging for launches to view the races for the Sanders Cup was left in the hands of the chairman and Mr A. T.
