TWO .MEN ON TRIAL. [THE FEB3S Special Scrvic:.] AUCKLAND, February 7. Charged with offences under the Bankruptcy Act, Oscar Lorenzen and Albert Norman Chapman, formerly in business as cabinetmakers and furniture dealers, were brought up for trial in the Supreme Court. The charges were of wilfully failing to keep proper books in order "to conceal the true state of their affairs, and of contracting debts without reasonable expectation of bein" able to pay them. The hearing will be continued to-morrow.
