TRAMWAY BOARD.

REGULAR .MEETING,

The Christchurch Tramway Board met yesterday, when there were present: Messrs A. s. Taylor (chairman), G. T. Booth, J. A. Fle-licr. \V. J. Walter. .T. Wood, I>. Sykes. K. \V. White, and Hon. J. Barr. The Works and Traffic Committee made the following report:— The committee has considered the request of petitioners for an extension of the Springfield road bus service to May's road. It recommends that tho request be acceded to. but before it can ho put into operation, the consent of the licensing authority must he obtained.
