Thf ODcning shoot for tlio Canterbury Rifle Association's senior shield took place on Saturday at Rodcliffs. The secctod and final shoot will take place on Saturday, March Kth. The present loaders are:—Christchurclt Railway 838, Christchttreli Defense Club SCO, Sydenham Defcnco Club Bi9. ASHBURTON CLUB. In spite of a bright and dazzling light, some good scores wcro registered in a match fired by the Ashburton Defence Rifle Club on Saturday afternoon. The conditions were 10 shots each over the 500 and 600 yards ranges. H. Cromie pro Ted the winner, with D. F. Keir runner-up. Details are as follows:
The Ashburton Defence Rifle Club will contest n match against tho Chrlstchutch Railivny Defence Rifle Club on tho Ashburton range on Saturday. The conditions will be seven shots each at 300, 500. and 600 yards.
