The New South Wales tenuis team, on its return from New Zealand by the Niagara, tell of the splendid hospitality extended to the team by the Dominion players, Norman Peach, the captain, speaks highl of several of the younger New Zealanders, especially Maifroy. Others who impressed the team were* Andrew's, Wilson. Sturt, Scay, and Knott. Peach regards the Maoris as a force that will have to be reckoned with bebefore long. He says they have remarkably keen eyesight, are quick as lishtning about the courts, and also possess quite a range of natural strokes, and arc eager to copy the styles of the different players they cet a chanco to see. "Given proper tuition, tho Maoris should produce players equal to our best," was Peach's final comment.
