At the recent annual outing of the Christchurch legal fraternity a wellknown lawyer did a very unwise thing, one not at all in keeping with the prescience which is associated with his name in matters legal. He foohshi> offered an Officers' Mess Turk.sl. cigarette to a fellow-barrister and «o quickly did the news fly round that mi. friend was in possession of a good thing that he was compelled to give awaj the whole of his Officers' Mess ctg arettes. Not that »e mended at .11 advertising the fame of this prince of Turkish tobaccos, but the «»«orto»atc fact was that he had »o «n*i* » «J C J» oil"' VeTncZ. (extra large)
