LYTTELTON NEWS.
Scamou's Institute. An enjoyable concert, arranged by Mrs T. M. Curnuw and tlio Misses Hatch well, Mas given in the Seamen's Instituto on Thursday evening. Items were contributed as follows: —Pianoforlo duet and choruses. Misses Johns and Johnson; songs, Misses M. llatchwell, Johns, and Edna Johnson; vocal duet. Misses Johns and Edna Johnson; Swanee whistle solo, Miss Johns. Tito accompanists were Misses Johnson and llatchwell. Tho superintendent expressed appreciation of the plensant evening's entertainment, and afterwards supper was served by tho ladies of the Guild.
