The Alexander arrited at Lyttelton yesterday afternoon •with sheep from Collingwood. She was expected to get away last night for Nelson. The 6ale arrived last night from Titirangt with sheep and wool. She is to sail today for Wanganui. The Karetu Is to be dispatched today for Sydney, via Oamaru and Bluff. It is doubtful if the Anamba will complete loading in time to sail for Auckland today. The Calm is dne to-morrow from the south, and sails on Monday afternoon with cargo for Wellington, Plcton, and Wanganui. - • The Breeie should arrive at Lyttelton tomorrow from Wanganui. She Is to sail on Monday for Dunedin and Timara. The Holmdale i« due on Tuesday from the south to load for Wellington and Wanganal.

Good weather was experienced by the Now Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rimutnka, which arrived at Wellington on Wednesday afternoon from London and Southampton, via Panama. Tho vessel sailed froiri Southampton on December 23rd, and made a good run, to Colon, which was reached on January Bth. Departure was taken from Balboa on January 9th, and on the run to Wellington a call was mado at Pitrnirn Itland on January 22nd. The Rimutaka brought a largo quantity of cargo nnd 320 passengers. The names of the saloon passengers have previously been published. After part discharge at Wellington the Rimutaka proceeds to Auckland and New Plymouth to complete. Captain F. A.
