BUSH FIRE.
DISASTROUS VICTORIAN OUTBREAK. (BY CABLE—PRESS ABBOCIATIOH—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN ANB U.S. CABLE ASBOCttTIOn.) MELBOURNE, February 3. A disastrous bush fire is raging on a 20-mito front near Chiltern, causing onormous damage. Four people were severely burned and two are missing. The fire, fanned by a cyclonic gale, reached to within two miles of Beecnworth. The township of Cockatoo is also menaced. Appeals for volunteers ha\*e been sent to neighbouring, towns. The bush fires are now under control as r result of tho change of wind and the valiant efforts of the fire-fighter*. All the missing people are accounted for.
