INSPECTION OF FACTORIES.
HON. MR M'LEOD'S VISIT. On Wednesday evening the Hon. Mr McLeod, Minister for Industries and Commerce, will arrive in Ckrotchurcii from Dunedin. Arrangement* have been made for him to visit the City factories. On Thursday morning he will visit the following establishment*:—Cyclone Fence and Gate Company, H. Burson and Son*, Buntings, and Weston Brcs. In the afternoon he will visit Archbolds, P. and D. Duncan's, an 4 Skelton and Frostick's. In the evening he will be entertained at a social function by the Manufacturers' Association. On Friday morning he will visit the Dominion Compressed Yeait Company, Johnson and Smith's, the Eaiapoi Clothing Factory, and Lane; Walker, and Budkin'B. In the afternoon he will visit the Woolston Tanneries, the N.Z. Glue Company, and Aulsebrook's. Mr McLeod leaves Christchurch for ™ ellington on Friday evening.
