A meeting of the South Canterbury Bowling Centre was held last evening, Mr B. Manning presiding. There were also present: Messrs M. McLcod, W. Watson, J. Bradley, It. Nicoll, J. Moycs, and F. B. Hawkey. The statement of receipts and expenditure for the Christmas tournament showed a credit balance of £O2 lis Td, after deducting expenditure of £9B Ss sd. It was adopted. A letter was received from the Ashburton Bowling Club stating that that club would meet the Timaru Park Club for the Bristol Cup on February sth. The letter was received. It was decided to play the singles on February 26th, and the pairs on March sth. It was nlso resolved that the rinks be played on February 12th, and that the match with North Otago be played on the same day. It was further agreed that the players for the representative match at Waimate be selected from the balance of players available. It was decided that the final of the shield competition between Temuka and Waimate be played on February 19th, on the Kia Toa green.
