* MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A Electing of the Genera! Committee of t!io Garrison Sports Association was hcIJ last evening. Lieutenant-Colonel A. J. McCrcdie presided. Tho report of the Boxing Sub-comniitt»o was tcccivrd. Arrangements wcro made for th.; engraving and presentation of medals won at the recent boxing tournament. The m< dais will be presented by the president of the Association on unit paraJcs The Swimming Sob-committee reported that owing to fixtures by other organisations and the regimental camps now being held, it had been found impossiblo to arransc for ft swimming carnival. It was deciiled to defer the matter until Sifter ths pageant. Correspondence from the Pageant Committee vnis read, and Major Bow explained th<> views of that committee. It was decided to utilise the time placed at the diap«3tt] of the Association, between 1 and 7.31 i each evening, and arrange for athletic ar.«'. military sporting eTents. A programme was drawn up, and a sub-committeo waa appointed to put it into execution.
