Despite his own strictures, which are often weighty, Protestor Barry says "in its general grasp ot the situation, its intuition, and it* rare insight, this book is a great contribution." That, coming from Kings College, is a welcome sign of the broader and kindlier spirit that does exist in the English Church, pace the "Lhnrcli Times.''
