MONICA PARK CARNIVAL. This evening's programme at the Monica Park Sports Carnival is a varied one, comprising cycle and footracing. The amateur events have attracted very large entries, and with both tho racing and running track in good order, fast times are to lie expected. Tho best of the professional riders will be competing in the two milo open class cvclc handicap. Other interesting events arc the half mile amateur cycle race, and tho 880 yds amateur foot race. Sfusical chairs is nn item that ithould prove highly amusing. "Chocolate alley" is an added attraction.
