THRIFT.
KEY TO HAPPINESS,
AN ACTOR'S VIEW. V
Mr Maurice MOscoVitoh, Who ifl appearing With his company at >*bhe Theatre Royal, is a great believer in thrift. To him, that is the' keynote of success in life.
•'I have no patience with people who squander their money and Who live beyond their ineVfiS," he' said Oil' Saturday. "If a man earns £5 a week, then he should live, on three of it." The actor shrugged his shoulders deprecatingly.- "Why, when I was earning £5 I was married and had two children, and I lived very -comfortably. In my profession: a man must save if ho is to live happily when ho is too old to work. A business started by a man goes on even if he is not there, but we earn only so long ag we can entertain. I have great pity for the man who wastes his youth and his money in f ambling, hut I would not help him ecause I believe tnat he learns sense only-by suffering."
