NARROW ESCAPE.
CAR GOES OVER BANK. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TXLZSBAif.) TE KUITI,' December 17. To roll 300 feet down a steep bank in a two-seater car and escape with minor injuries was the experience of T. L. B. Freyne on a road near Konaki yesterday. The car skidded in loose gravel, left the road and somersaulted four times down a bank. Freyne remained in the car, and sustained only a cut on the head. Frank Kade. an Auckland commercial traveller, iumped out of. the car and broke his nose. He also received severe cuts about the head and face. The car was wrecked.
