• MOTORIST TO STAND TRIAL. (MESS ASSOCIATION- TELEGEAM.) AUCKLAND, June 22. ' In the Police Court Richard Matthew TValker was' committed for trial, bail being allowed in £SO and one surety ot the same amount, Off a charge of manslaughter. It is alleged lie left an insufficiently lighted motor-lorry on the road at Avondale, thereby causing the deith of Charles Owen Elder, who was riding on the bark of a motor-cycle which collided with the lorry on May 22nd.
