INCOMPARABLE PAVLOVA.

SEASON BEGINS MONDAY NIGHT.

On Monday night, at the ./Theatre. Koyal, the world's most famous dancer, Anna Pavlova, and her complete: London and .Paris Company,, including Laurent Noyikofi, the dashing young Russian dancer, together, with. a full grand operatio orchestra, under the> conductorship of Lucien Wurmser,. will begin, a brief season of eik nights and a.' matinee, during which Pavlova will present; three distinctly .different programmes. The opening programme, which will be staged for two nights,..will include "The.Fairy,' "Tie Polish Wedding," "The Swan," the Bus San dance, and other big features. The second programme, which includes "Snow-, flakes," "The Magio Flute,'' ■'. and "Christ-' mas," will be presented on Wednesday and Thursday nights, and the final programme will be staged on Frday and Saturday next. That .Pavlova stands on a pedestal. all by herself in the" dancing world has been admitted by critics the world over, and the triumphs, she has achieved in Australia and New Zealand are unprecedented. -Pavlova's inspiration for the new group of folkdances, as represented in "The .Polish Wedding" ballet, rose from the description: of. the romarkablo scene at the; time of the Polish declaration of Independence, one of the events which ensued from the world War. In the Busaian \Dance,' Pavlova is presented at times whimsical sympathetic, and tantalising, • every emotion is displayed perfectly. . '• Pavlova's dancing principal partner is Laurent Novikoff,. who is said to be the finest/ male dancer we i have enjoyed in New Zealand Mies Thursa Sogers, a young New Zealander, will; present in the opening programme, together with M. Flanowski, the scene'Dansanto, in! which she. scored a big- triumph-in. Auckland. A feature of the entertainment is the full grand operatio orobesfja. which ie under the direction of Lucien Wurmser.
