RIOTS IN WARSAW. (W CA»«—»MB» AMOettttOX—OOmiOHT.) (nkim&'s wxjcasAMS.) LONDON, May 3May Day apparently passed quietly everywhere except in Poland, Warsaw reporting riots between Socialists and! Communists. Mounted police charged several times, and three were killed and 40 injured. The Communists tried to storm the Town Hall, but were dispersed, one being killed and 14 injured. PRECAUTIONS IN JAPAN. TOKYO. May..2. Strict precautions are being taken against May Day disturbances. The police ordered leading agitators to remain in their homes and under strict polico supervision. \ A procession of 20,000, after passing resolutions in favour of an eight-hour day and other labour reforms, quietly paraded the streets.
