OTIRA TUNNEL.
GOODS TRAFFIC IN APRIL. Goods traffic through the Otira tunnel during .the month ended April 30th, 1926, totalled 28,274 tons, as compared with 26,029 tons for April, 1925, an increase this year of 2246 tons. But for the wash-out on the lino last month, it is estimated that the total would have been greater, to the extent of between 2000 and 3000 tons.
