A handsome Frenchwoman, Josephine) Lugrin, aged 50, has been arrested on charges of numerous frauds, It was alleged that she became engaged to 34 wealthy men in the past three years, in Switzerland and France, and, after receiving large Bums, provoked quarrels and deserted theill. When arrested she said, "How can I prevent Silly old men wanting to marry me, and giving me presents?"
