The Radio Corporation of America and the Marooni Wireless Company of England inaugurated a commercial radio pioture service to-night, the first photographs, which were sent to the New York "Times," being of speakers at the table at the Pilgrims' Society dinner in London held on Wednesday night, followed by a sketch of Mr A. The transmission started at London at midnight, but static and mechanical troubles delayed reception, whioh normally should take 20 minutes to 165 minutes a picture.
