THE ESTUARY.
TO THE IDITO* OT "TEE PaiSS." Sir, —The Estuary meeting in its eagerness to get something done applauded the speaker who maligned the Estuary as being "smellful." The Mayor even thanked the speaker for supplving him with a new word. I missed getting in my say, as the time wqs getting on, about the recently discovered scientific fact concerning seaside estauries, viz., that they ar« healthy places to live alongside of. The
mud surface round about the'windmill does not deem to have changed much, seeing I nicked up a Maori adze out there, and there was no smell attached to it.—Yours, etc., PETER TROLOVE.
