The Association Cup Final, in which Bolton Wanderers beat Manchester City by one goal to nil, provided some exciting scenes. Excursion trains from the north began arriving in London at 3 a.m., mid by 7 a.m. no fewer than 150 trains had reached the Metropolis. Many supporters of the players were dressed in suits, top hats, and carried umbrellas' made of the club colours. Squads of Lancashire mill girls, attired in shawls nnd wearing clogs were present.
