WOOLSTON METHODIST CHURCH

* The Woolston Methodist Church celebrated ita Church Anniversary by three special services recently. The Rer. E. !>■ Patchett conducted the morning service, and the Rev. W. H. Speer tho evening Mr Speer spoke on "The Altar Fires of Faith." A fine musical programme was rendered by the St. Albans Methodist Choir at tho afternoon aeirvice, and concluded with "The Hallelujah Chorus," Mr W. Simpson being the conductor. At the morning and evening services Mr W. Bainsford was conductor of the Woolston Choir, who rendered the following anthems: "I Am Alpha," "The Lord is Exalted," and "Abide with Me." Solos by Mrs J. W. Pali, Miss Mabel Turner, and Miss Haig were much appreciated. Mr D. McHarg presided at the organ.
