ATTENDANCE RECORDS BROKEN (fbebs association tilsgeail) DUNEDIN, April 25. For the second time the Exhibition on Saturday broke its own attendance record, soaring into sixties on this occasion with an attendance of 60,551. Oil two other occasions the attendance passed the 50,000 mark. On New dear's Eve it was 50,971, and on Easter Monday 51,323. Saturday's staggering crowd, therefore, beat the latter performance by over 9000. A factor in this unprecedented achievement was the heavy influx of day excursionists. There were ten special trains, two from Christchuroh, two from Timaru, and one each from Ashburton, Palmerston, Milton, Tuatapcre, Nightcaps, and the Catlins district, and they brought 8000 visitors. The prize of £5 for the 2,900,000 th visitor was won about 4 o'clock by Miss D. N. Gore, of Musselburgh, Dunedin. *lt is the first prize to remain in Dunedin.

The grand attendance stands at 2,935,141, and it is now expected that the 3,000,000 th \isitor. who will be given <i prize to the value of £2o, will pass through the turnstiles on Wednesday evening.
