W.E.A. SOCIAL.
An enoyable social evening was spent by W.E.A. students and their friends in the W.E.A. Rooms on Saturday night. Mr J. Sturrock presided, and there was a large attendance. The programme consisted of vocal and instrumental items and recitations. Songs were given by Mrs A. Edmonds and Mr W. Worrall; Mrs Temple gave a musical monologue: and recitations were given by Miss E. SI. Hyland and Mr Dunford. A cornet solo was played by Mr Martin, and a concertina solo was given by Mr D. Crouch.
