Under the impression that a soul has a good appetite, a Paignton (Devonshire) woman has periodically provided food for a friend who died some years ago. Recently, however, the vault was placed under seal, and in order to overcome the difficulty an awning was erected, underneath which the food was placed. This consisted of roasted partridges, joints of meat, pineapple, oranges, apples, fancy cakes, and _an abundance of cut flowers.- It is understood that friends have now obtained consent to remove the body from Paignton to Brookwood.
