STRAND THEATRE.
"PEACOCK FEATHERS." The programme commencing to-night is headed by "Peacock Feathers," a feature headed by Jacqueline Logan and Cullen Landis. It is the story of a poor lad who falls for a society girl. They cannot marry unless a rich undo of Jerry dies and leaves him his ranch, so Mimi is going through with the wedding planned for hor by her mother with a scion of a wealthy house. Fortunately for the pair, the uncle dies, and they marry, and go out to the ranch. There awaits a disillusionment for the girl. The land on tho ranch is uncultivated, and the only house on it is a tumble-down shack. Tested by danger and the need for work, their love is proved, and they turn to, and make something valuable out of the ranch.
