The Oommiteee recoutitt&d* that if abnormal import# oontinue offing. to depreciated exchanges, a duty_ of .lit per cent, should toe imposed. The \ commendation it bated on a Frtiwb exchange rate of 180 franc* to tho £, Belgium of 107, and Italy of ISO lire to the £. Mr Bevin,a memboir of the Committee, is of the opinion that there should be a resenration to it*, effect that duty should not be imposed until a more comprehensive eriquiry hai held covering the whole of the tfortted woollen trade. *
