THE BUS REGULATIONS.
(press association tolegram.) AUCKLAND, April 23. Speaking at a meeting at Milford last evening, Mr A. Harris, M.P., said he had a certain amount of information as to the forthcoming motor traffic regulations. The regulations would empower local authorities to lioense buses to ply within their districts, or to refuse licenses. There would be a Transport Appeaj/Board consisting of one representative of the Government, one from the local authority, one from the motor bus company applying for the license, and one from any other body opposing the application* The Board would be presided over by an independent chairman.
