The lato Sir Robert Houston made his will in Jersey, whiore he claimed domicile. This is likoly to prove a heavy blow to the British Exchequer, as no death duties are levied in Jersey. [The late Sir Robert Houston, head of the Houston steamship line, was for many years a member of the House of Commons, retiring at the last election. He left a fortunes estimated at £7,000,000.] EXCHEQUER MAY LOSE £3,000,000. (Sidxev "Sujr" Seevice.) (.Received April 22nd, 8 p.m.) LONDON, April 21. The newspaper "Sketch" says that the highest legal authority states that Jersey domicile completely protects Sir Robert Houston's estate from death duties estimated to amount to £3,000,000. The "Daily MaiH" states that the Treasury will probably bring a test case- in order to rjecure a ruling regarding Channel Inlands domicile.
