A china merchant who twice drove his lorry over the same woman was sentenced to 15 months' imprisonment for manslaughter at Glamorgan Assizes. After knocking down Mrs Annie Elizabeth Price, at Briton Terry, Brinley Owen Davies, aged 28, of Neath, turned his vehicle in the roadway. Coming back on the wrong Bide of the road, he again passed over the woman's body, and then drove away. Xrs Price died from -her. injuries.
