Owing to storms sweeping the entire coast of Japan yesterday, over 100 fishermen are reported missing. Authorities at Maizuru, assisted by a destroyer, are engaged in the search '' for the missing. Other localities also suffered damage, including a large bridge blown down at Inchinseki, in the Iwato Prefecture. Two hundred houses near Sapporo were submerged. A fire which broke out at Nodachiba Prefecture reduced to ashes two large factories and 130 houses. The loss is estimated at 1,000,000 yen. l A dozen casualties are reported from tho villago of Nagano Prefecture, where 140 houses were destroyed, whilst from the Fukui Prefecture comes a re- . port that a woman and child were burnt to death in the village, where 140 houses were burnt.
