DORRIGO WRECK.

MARINE COURT ENQUIRY. (BY CABLE—PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBIOHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received April 21st, }0.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, April 21. The Murine Court commenced an enquiry into the loss of the steamer Dorrigo. Captain Gray, master of the vessel, gave evidence. He said he had thirty years' experience on the eastern coast of Australia. Before leaving port on the ill-fated voyage he noticed nothing wrong. The ship appeared to be well stowed and at sea was absolutely upright. He could give no reason for the disaster. [The coastal steamer Dorrigo, of 715 tons, bound from Sydney to Thursday Island, foundered 14 miles south-east of Double Island Point. Captain Gray and his son were picked up, but were the only survivors of the disaster.]
