NEW BRIGHTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. ia hereby given that at a Special .1 Meeting of the New • Brighton, Borough Council held on MONDAY, the 29th day of MARCH, 1926, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held on MONDAY, the 26th day of APRIL, 1936, at 7.80 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Nelson street, New Brighton;— "That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 16 (e) of the Looal Bodies Loans Act,* 1918, and with the consent of the Ratepayers of the Jubilee avenue, Special Rating Area situated in the New Brighton Borough hereinafter described testified by a petition signed by not loss than three-fourths of the ratepayers of the said Spealal Rating Area, the Capital' Value of whcjse'properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the Borough of New Brighton is collectively greater than the Capital Values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the NI'IW BRIGHTON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES by way of Special Order as follows ;-r—----(a) For the purpose of Drainage on Jubilee avenue, the New Brighton Borough Council HEREBY AUTHORISES . the raising of a Loan of £IOO such loan to boar interest at the rate of flye and three-quarters (Sjj) per centum per finnun) with a Sinking Fund of ' One Pound par centum per annum for a period of Thirty-six and a half (361) years, and declares'that the cost of raising the said Loap and the Interest and Sinking Fund for tUo first year be paid out of the Loan. (b) The proposed security (or the said Loan is a Special Rate of Four pence three farthings (4Jd) in the pound (£) upon the Rateable value being tho Unimproved Value of all rateable property in the Jubilee avenue Special Rating Area.
