Declaring himself the newest member of the "Mark Twain Club," H. C. Odell, photographer, asked Coroner Grant D. Miller, of Oakland, to remove his name from a tombstone and to refund money expended for "his funeral." The body of a man found in- the estuary -was identified by the former wife of Odell, and a brother in Chicago sent money for the funeral.
