WALTHAM SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
The monthly meeting of the Waltham School Committee was held on Monday, ilr Turner presiding. Others present were: Messrs A. Blaekler, W. Peglcy, W. Power, A. Simmonds, W. Symons, and the headmaster. A letter from the Health Department to the Sydenham Dental Clynic, in reference to.appointment of delegate', was left to the incoming committee. Correspondence received from the Board recommending the appointment of Mr A. H. Payne to the position of assistant master was endorsed. The resignation ol ilr i\ Wilson was received with regret, the secretary being instructed to forward a letter of appreciation for services rendered. Tho school swimming sports, held during the month, were a great success, the races being well contested. As this was the final meeting of the committee, the chairman took the opportunity to thank one 'and all for the assistance he bad received during his term of office.
