A GOLFER AND HIS CIGARETTE.
A GROWL FROM THE LINKS. "What I mainly object to," said a well-known Christchurch golfer to a reporter the other day, ''is that the other fellows smoke so many of my cigarettes. ' If they smoked more ot their own and not so many of mine I would be much better pleased, les! T was one of the first to light an Officers' Mess. For flavour and satisfaction they are unique. Out on the links I prefer a Virginia Officers tfess; after dinner there is nothing to equal a Turkish (cork-tipped) Officers' Mess. I understand nil tobacconists sell them at 9d for 10 Barlow Bros. are the N.Z. distributing agents."
