FORESTERS' FRIENDLY SOCIETY.
At the fortnightly meeting; of flic Court Star of Canterbury, No. 2300, Ancient Order of Foresters, held' in the Foresters' Hall, Oxford terrace, there was a large attendance of members. The meeting was presided over by Chief Itanger Bro. G. T. Southam. The reports of the sick visitors were received, and the sick pay account passed for payment. The secretary reported with regret the death of an old member of the Court, Bro. E. H. Cooper, and a motion of re?ret and sympathy for the relatives and family of the late Brother Cooper was carried. Anion? the visitors present was Bro. G. Harris, P.C.R. of Court St. Martin's So. 1693, England, and Bro. J. TVathew, P.D.C.R,, on behalf of the Court, welcomed Bro. Harris, and the Foresters' Fire was given in his honour. Bro. Harris suitably responded. Members of the Court were notified of the business to be transacted at the diatrict meeting to be held at Belfast on. Thursday, April 29th, and delegates were given their credentials for the meeting.
