TO THE EDITOR Of "THE PRISS." Sir, —Yes! Your' correspondent, Taffy Welsh, is most decidedly ii: error in his surmise of Mr Tobin's ignorance of the Maori language. I , happen to know that Mr Tohin (.peaks Maori much more fluently than lie does Welsh, lie having _ lived •amongst the North Island Maoris for two years, during which timo he spoke 110 other language than theirs.-—Yours, etc., OXE WHO KNOWS HIM.
