Regarding the drainage of the Northcote settlement, it was reported at last night's meeting of the Drainage Board that the tender of Messrs Boyle Brothers, at £1776 9s 6d, had been accepted. The work is being done by the Board for the State Advances Office. The successful tenderers started work at Grimsey's road on the 12th inst.
