DANNEVIRKE FIRES.
CORONER'S ENQUIRY. (PBISS ASSOCIATION TELXOBAH.) DANNEVIRKE, April 20. Fires which occurred on January 6th and, January 7th at the premises occupied by 'Francis Donaldson, grocer, in High street, formed the subject of a coronial enquiry by Mr W. Dobson, Coroner, ana a jury of six. Evidence showed that there were two outbreaks, one at 9 p.m. on the evening of January 6th, and the other about 4.30 on the following morning. Donaldson was alone on the premises at thd time, his wife having left on the morning of January 6th. After an exhaustive enquiry the jury found that although there was evidence of Donaldson's involved financial position and of over-insurance, there was no evidence to show how the fireo were caused.
