OKAIN'S BAY SPORTS.

The annual sports meeting of -the Okains' Bay Athletic Sports Club was held in the Recreation Grounds on Saturday.' The day was very fine, and the attendance was good considering that .-the meeting had been postponed from the previous Thursday. Good starts wero'madein every event, and in tiie shorter races some good finishes were witnessed. The cup- tor the highest number 01 points for local competitors was won by James Haines, and the cup presented by Mr K. J. Moore, for hignest points in tho boys' events, wa ; s won by W. P. McKay, of Le Bon's .Bay. W. C. Crotty ' won tho gold medal presented by Mr Barnham for ine highest points in amateur events. The secretarial duties were capably carried out by Air H. I>.
