"J" Grade No. 2 March-May shipments sold up to A.43 10s, but sellers at the close £42 easier. Sisal quiet, Kenya No 1 MarchMay shipments value £44 10s. No business reported of New Zealand. Value easier all round.- Highpoints March-May shipments quoted £3B 10s; fair £36. TALLOW. ' Spot market is less active. Present quotations are unchanged with the^ exception of: Mutton: Fair to good, 42s to 44s per cwt. Beef: Fair to good, 40s to 41s 9d per cwt. . EGGS. ' Slow trade. Present quotations are:— Danish, 16s 6d to 17b per long 100; haglish, Irish, Dutch, 13s 6d to 15s per long 100 • Belgian, Italian, Syrian, French, 12. to 13s 6d per long 100; Polish, Chinese, Egyptian, 9s 3d to lis 6d per long 100. TINWALD STOCK MARKET.

There was a very large attendance at the Tinwald yards yesterday, when there was an entry of 340 fat ewes, 41 fat wethers, 531 fat lambs, close on 4000 stores, and 22 head of cattle. Fat ewes sold .at a slight decline on last week's values, but wethers sold at prices quite equal to last week's rates, and lambs at just about schedule prices.
